SwitchFlops dynamo drops in on BOT
|
Because we "won" SwitchFlops designer Lindsay Phillips in a contest, Lindsay came to a party at Best of Times in late July. After an interview with Wichita Eagle fashion writer Bonnie Bing, and appearance on Channel 10's 11:30 a.m. news show, Lindsay was ready to meet her fans at an evening BOT party. A tiny human dynamo, the 24-year-old Floridian was quite impressed with Wichita and her SwitchFlops fans. Lindsay sold a ton of SwitchFlops for us that night, and also announced her new product, arriving in our store this fall: the Lindsay Phillips ballet flats with interchangeable snaps. Lindsay also was interviewed by East Wichita News editor/publisher Cathy Feemster, and you can read about the party in the monthly newspaper's August edition.
